@GeorgSeifert: I suspect the confusion comes from when one of those glyphs is created the component reference is included since the decompose attribute in the GlyphData still references the stroke/slash glyphs. Perhaps the GlyphData should be updated for those glyphs.

This release brings one notable feature, namely supportfor color-layered outline glyphs (for example, scalableemoji glyphs). Additionally, the API reference has beencompletely overhauled and modernized, as alreadyannounced.
Magento Open Source 2.4.4 is now available. It provides lots of new enhancements and bug fixes. For instance, you can now leverage support for PHP 8.1. It means that all project libraries and dependencies have been updated too. They are now compatible with PHP 8.1. The same is about core Composer dependencies and third-party libraries.
This release introduces one security fix that has been backported to Magento Open Source 2.4.3-p2 and Magento Open Source 2.3.7-p3. Also, you will find a few more platform security improvements in 2.4.4.
All vendor-bundled extensions have been removed from the Magento Open Source 2.4.4 codebase. Braintree is the only exception. So, if you want to get the removed modules, visit the Commerce Marketplace. You can find Amazon Pay, dotdigital, Klarna, Vertex, and YotPo there.
Also, the new multiple consumers feature introduces better e-commerce opportunities. It supports scaling the number of message queue consumers on a single Cloud instance. In addition to that, Magento 2.4.4 uses it to increase the number of orders processed per hour.
Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 introduces compatibility with PWA Studio v.12.3.0, which, in its turn, includes support for reCaptcha, Page Builder content optimization, and personalized content. No more new features are available. You can read about enhancements and bug fixes here: PWA Studio releases.
With Adobe Commerce 2.4.4, the platform introduces increased conformance to standard accessibility guidelines, including Screen Reader tools. New enhancements offer a better experience for users with limited abilities, including vision, language, cognitive, or learning. So, what are the exact accessibility enhancements, you will ask?
A TrueType name table loader which supports 'buggy' Asian fonts was added in 2.1.1, which ignores empty name entries, invalid pointer offsets and a few other incorrect subtleties. In addition, name strings are now loaded on demand, which reduces the memory load of many faces.[40] Support of managing UCS-4 character codes in the CMap cache was added in 2.1.4-rc2.[45] In 2.1.8, support of deinstallation of faces, and deleting all 'idle' nodes that correspond to a given FTC_FaceID was added.[30] In the Type 1 loader, top-level dictionaries were properly skipped starting from 2.3.0[7] An ability to use fractional pixel sizes in the cache was added in 2.3.5.[13] >An ability to extract advance values of glyphs without loading their outlines was added in 2.3.8.[6] Incremental font loading is enabled by default in 2.3.12.[56]
More luminous energy sent to me by an unknown ally. With this energy, I was able to open a small window that allowed me to look into a lost realm where I saw to my great surprise a city with survivors living as though nothing was out of the ordinary. The window eventually closed, and I spent the entire evening imagining how such a thing could be possible or if it was merely an illusion. The same night another surge of energy permitted me to open a doorway into a realm I didn't much recognise or dare explore. I stared at the scintillating doorway until it faded out of existence. It's as though the one manifesting these sacred glyphs is trying to help me delve deeper into the mysteries of this dimension or, perhaps, he is suggesting that the answers to my salvation are hidden amongst the countless realms discarded by this Old One since time immemorial.
